The CDI Compact 4835 images digital flexo plates as well as sleeves. Plate sizes range from 42” x 30” / 1067 mm x 762 mm (or smaller) to 47.2” x 35.4” / 1200 mm x 900 mm (or smaller). The maximum sleeve length – or print width – is 1300mm (51”), and repeats are possible up to 1000 mm (39”).
The CDI Compact 4835 serves the middle-format highest quality flexo applications, including the flexible packaging and folding carton printing markets. This device features a high-speed, high-reliability fiber laser with multi-beam optics, resulting in 3 different speed options up to 4.0 m²/hr.

Sleeve imaging  

The CDI Compact with Sleeve Option (mandrel exchange or cantilever) is a productive solution for mid-web sleeve formats. This offers highest productivity thanks to seamless sleeve imaging and the Seamless Screens solutions offered by the Esko-Graphics FlexRip. In just 4 minutes and 30 seconds a sleeve with 600mm repeat and 1000mm length will be imaged (Optics 40, 50% SuperSkip zones).  

Cantilever Sleeve Option

The exchangeable cantilever arm and an automated tailstock is a system that allows one operator to easily change a sleeve without additional tools.

The new cantilever sleeve system of the CDI Compact allows fastest and smoothest sleeve handling to maximize productivity.
